Committees
GCEA Committees provide an international forum for exchanging ideas among representatives of GCEA’s member organizations. The exchange generates suggestions and recommendations useful for the global clinical engineering field. Furthermore, discussion of challenges and efforts made to address them, make the Committees' work unique for the global Clinical Engineering field. The Committees also are responsible to develop and establish the Alliance’s organizational procedures that facilitate proper representation of the Committee membership and smooth protocol for the implementation of the GCEA mission. During the transitional period between the public announcement about the establishment of the Global Clinical Engineering Alliance (GCEA) and the first election of GCEA officers in November 2023, the administration of GCEA was governed by the Founders’ Council.
