VISA Information
Do I need a Chinese VISA to attend the 6th ICEHTMC?

Visa Information for Entry into China
Important: Most international participants will require a visa to enter the People's Republic of China. Visa requirements can vary by country and are subject to change. We strongly recommend that you check the specific requirements with the Chinese Consulate or Embassy in your local jurisdiction for the most up-to-date information.
Before Applying:
- Make sure that you hold a valid passport with at least 6 months left before expiration and have 2 empty pages for attaching a visa sticker.
- A photocopy of your passport information page is required if you need to go for an interview at the Consulate.
- Have a digital photo of yourself against a true white background.
- Have a hotel reservation with information about where you will stay (there is a form to be filled in for this), showing your name on the reservation. It will be provided to you after you make and pay for the reservation.
- A copy of your round-trip airline ticket with your name on it.
- An invitation letter from the 6th ICEHTMC Congress.
- Have handy the visa application identification number to reserve an appointment at an embassy, if needed.
Recommended Visa Type: Business Visa
To ensure a smooth application process, we advise attendees to apply for a Business Visa.
