Do I need a Chinese VISA to attend the 6^th ICEHTMC?

Before Applying:

• Make sure that you hold a valid passport with at least 6 months left before expiration and have 2 empty pages for attaching a visa sticker.
• A photocopy of your passport information page is required if you need to go for an interview at the Consulate.
• Have a digital photo of yourself against a true white background.
• Have a hotel reservation with information about where you will stay (there is a form to be filled in for this), showing your name on the reservation. It will be provided to you after you make and pay for the reservation.
• A copy of your round-trip airline ticket with your name on it.
• An invitation letter from the 6^th ICEHTMC Congress.
• Have handy the visa application identification number to reserve an appointment at an embassy, if needed.

Recommended Visa Type: Business Visa

To ensure a smooth application process, we advise attendees to apply for a Business Visa.

• While we will provide an official invitation letter issued by the ICEHTMC Conference and its Organizing Committee, we are not authorized to assist in the visa application process beyond this.

• The ICEHTMC Conference and its Organizing Committee cannot intervene with visa decisions made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, nor correspond with embassies or consulates on behalf of applicants.

• Visa rejections will not be grounds for a refund of registration fees.

Additional Guidelines:

• Visa requirements vary by country and region. Please consult the website of the Chinese embassy or consulate in your area to verify the necessary documents.

• Begin your application early — we recommend allowing at least 1.5 months for the entire visa process.

• Ultimately, it is the attendee’s responsibility to ensure they obtain the appropriate visa in time for the conference.
